The Heroes Guild is a space to play TTRPGs (Tabletop Roleplay Games) like Dungeons & Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, Daggerheart, Blades in the Dark, and many more. We also cater to miniature wargames like Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, Infinity, Trench Crusade, Frostgrave, The Old World, Horus Heresy, as well as historical war games like Bolt Action, Pike & Shot, 1918, Chain of Command, SAGA, and others. The Heroes Guild has large tables and terrain for most any tabletop game!
Do you play a trading card game like Magic: The Gathering, Sorcerer: Contested Realm, Pokémon, Lorcana, or Yu-Gi-Oh!? We’ll be hosting games and events.
We have an ever expanding board game library and card games available. We are the dedicated space to play board games in Walthamstow.
A hobby space will include 3D printers, airbrushes, miniature painting, and terrain building, with workshops and help on hand.
Food and Drinks
We offer a small selection of beers, ciders, wine and alcohol-free drinks, as well as tea, coffee and simple bar snacks to keep you fuelled for your game.
We serve a simple menu of vegan food and snacks. We have also partnered with Yard Sale Pizza for deliveries and you are also welcome to bring in your own food as long it isn’t too messy! We hope to expand our food choices as we grow.
How to Find Us
The Heroes Guild is on the 2nd Floor above the Sainsbury’s on Walthamstow High Street. The entrance can be found between the Fish Brother’s Pawn Brokers and the Sainsbury’s.
It is a 5 minute walk from either Walthamstow Central, Walthamstow Queen’s Road and St James Street stations and is 2 minutes from Selborne Walk bus stop (58, 212, 230, 275, 675, W11, W12, W15 & W19 buses). This bus stop is currently closed due to road works.
Accessibility
The building is currently not easily accessible to wheelchairs but this is something that we hope to rectify as soon as we are able to.
