Every two weeks this year we host Dirty Demos. A chance to try out a selection of games demoed by HATE Club veterans in fun evenings at the Heroes Guild. Turn up with nothing but an open mind, your enthusiasm and have a go learning something new and FUN!
First up, Toby and Dan demo Blood Bowl, the game of Fantasy Football.
Bloodbowl is the oldest surviving Games Workshop ruleset, having kept the core of the game for 40 years. Toby and Dan have been playing this beutiful, bloody sport for almost that long and have a deep love for the ugly game.
It’s a game that many think of as extremely tactical and serious. It certainly can be tactical, but once you get the rules under your belt it can really flow and be one of the most Fun tabletop games out there. Also once you get into league play the game really comes to life, as you develop your players, unique strategies and plays. But it all hangs on a knife-edge, as Bloodbowl is a really deadly game!!!
