Townships burn along the coast of Westerlund. The ravening hordes of Frydaal the Chainmaker have laid down their challenge, and found the Empire wanting.
Until now. In conjunction with her new allies from Grand Cathay, Empress Magritta VI has called for a Grand Alliance to reclaim her province. Time will tell if gold will be enough to buy their freedom.
Wasteland Warriors is a new narrative doubles event for Old World, taking place at the Heroes Guild in Walthamstow, North East London on Saturday October 24th, 2026.
What's more, each pair will be fighting as part of a larger Alliance in order to determine the fate of the Westerlund! Will you fly your flag for Frydaal the Chainmaker as she attempts to sweep across the region with her Ravening Hordes, or will you find yourself in the pay of Empress Magritta VI of Marienburg and her politically fraught Alliance of Westerlund?
Each Alliance will gain points across the day that will determine whether Frydaal or Magritta will be successful in their campaigns in 2277.
Each player in each pair should bring a 1000 point list. Although the theme is centered around Empire and Cathay vs Chaos and beastmen, all Armies are welcome! There is a small faction bonus for aligning to the theme armies.
Check out the pack for details, as well exciting new House Rules for Empire Provinces and Priests, as well as an expanded Gaze of the Gods table for chaos, and rules for taking Chaotic or Imperial allies!
